10 March Favorites!

Welcome, friends, to my first ever favorites post! I am so excited to share a few of my favorite things with you today. I’ve actually been trying a lot of new products recently, so I’ve cultivated quite the list. Please let me know if you love some of these things as well, or if you plan to try them!

Mallory Ervin – Following this lady will bring so much joy to your life. She’s a YouTuber, but she’s also a wife, a soon-to-be mama, and an amazing cook/singer/inspirational and gorgeous human being. Mallory is based in Nashville with her husband Kyle and they are absolutely hilarious together. I can’t wait to watch their adorable little family grow! Check out her Youtube channel here.

Kara Ashley Designs – I have been following Kara Ashley for awhile now and I just made my first purchases (trust me, there will be many in the future)! Her illustrations are so cute and classy and just so my style. I got the one pictured above for a birthday and I may have bought a mug for myself to support my addiction (see it featured on my Instagram). I’ve linked to her website here, and you can go to her Instagram account from there!

Courtney Shield’s BYOBeauties Facebook Group – Courtney is a forever fave (you can find her blog here) and the FB group she created is full of wonderful women. It’s a place where everyday we ask questions, get answers, have discussions, give and get recommendations, and find inspiration! It has been such a fun place to interact and it’s maybe the most positive place on the internet.

Cheek Illuminator from Tanya Burr Cosmetics – What an awesome product. It gives such a good glow on the cheekbones with a really light pink tint. It has definitely become my go-to for highlighter! The shade I use is called Summer Forever. (Ordering to the U.S. here makes it a little more, but it’s still under $10).

Loreal Lumi Glotion – aside from the name of this product (does anyone actually enjoy saying ‘glotion’?) I really really love it. I’ve been looking for products that achieve a glowy look and I was so happy with how this turned out! You can mix a pump of it with your foundation, but normally I’ve been using it on its own. My color is 902 – Light Glow (Find it here).

Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer – I recently switched concealers and I am all about this one! It goes on so smoothly and blends perfectly (I use a beauty blender). One of my favorite things about it is the applicator – no wants or pumps, just straight on the face! I use the lightest shade and it brightens so well. (Find it here).

Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Polish – I bought this in London since my skin was getting pretty dry, and let me tell you, it not only smells amazing (with apricot, sugar, and shea butter) but it worked really really well on my face to get rid of dry skin. I will absolutely be buying it again (and you can buy it here)!

Food & Drink:

Citrus Defender Tea at Startbucks – A coworker recommended this to me and I’ve honestly been drinking it for about three months straight. It is the perfect warm, cozy drink. They make it half with water, half with lemonade and then add a little honey to make it sweeter. If you’re still in a place that spring hasn’t reached, pick this up the next time you make a Starbucks run!

Iced Coconut Milk Mocha Macchiato – As we move into Spring, this has been my transition drink. It feels a lot lighter than other drinks because of the coconut milk, so it’s just really pleasant to drink on a sunnier day and you don’t feel like you’re being too unhealthy!

The X-Files – More specifically, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson aka Mulder and Scully. I had to give a shoutout to this show, because after I watched it the whole way through five years ago, I’ve learned pretty much everything there is to know about it, and it also ended for good on my birthday. I think Duchovny & Anderson created two of the best characters on t.v. and one of the greatest t.v. couples ever. If you need additional watching material, I absolutely recommend Return to Me (Duchovny) and The Fall (Anderson).

That’s all for now, but I hope you had as much fun reading this as I had writing it! Please let me know if you love any of these products too or if you end up trying and loving them!! xx
