Welcome to Blogmas day 3!
Look at me posting on the right day. 🙂 Thanks for coming back to the newest Blogmas post! If you missed the first two days, so far I’ve posted my plans for December and a list of festive ideas for this month. Be sure to keep checking back every day for new Christmas content!
Today I’m giving you a look at my dining room table and maybe giving you an idea or two for how to spruce up your table for the holidays.
As you can see, it does’t have to be too complicated or fancy. I started with a cute table runner with a Christmas tree pattern. Then I added the wooden tray (to be honest I’m not really sure what it is…tray? decoration? sign?) which came from Target and was about $3.
Next I threw some tinsel around the tray, which I just had on hand. I put a Bath & Body Works candle (the scent is Marshmallow Fireside and it is amazing), some fancy matches from Magnolia, and a pretty gold tree. I finished it off with a few mini candy canes scattered around to fill in the empty spaces.
You could definitely add some taller candles to vary the height, or use cutouts of snowflakes or trees to make it super cute. I also really love the idea of setting an ornament or two around to bring some shine or sparkle.
Like I said, your decorations really don’t have to be complicated, expensive, or even new. I took things I already had and put them together to add a little something to my dining room table and make it more fun.
If you feel inspired, tag me in your festive photos on Instagram! I’ll be sharing all my Christmas-y ideas over there so be sure to follow along. 🙂
Until tomorrow! xx
