January Beauty Haul

Hello, and welcome back! This is my first post of the year, and it’s actually been nice to take a little break. I hope you’ve had a great, solid start to the new year and that you’re still motivated to accomplish all of the goals you set for yourself. 🙂 Though I didn’t write out specific goals this year, I always love to try new products, so I took a trip to Ulta and picked up a few new things to try. Feel free to ask for an update on how I get on with any of them if you’re interested in picking up something yourself!

Batiste Dry Shampoo (scent: fresh)

The first item was actually the thing I went to buy in the first place, which was the Batiste dry shampoo in the scent “fresh” because dry shampoo is an essential, at least in my house. Maybe it’s because I’m lazy or maybe because I’m a genius, but I don’t want to be washing my hair every day and this is a life-saver for that.

L’Oreal Color Riche Shine Lipsticks (colors: Luminous Coral)

I picked up a couple shades of this lipstick because one, they were on sale for $2.99 (yes, please) and two, I had a few other colors already and loved them. The formula is smooth, not matte, and fades really naturally, which I definitely appreciate.

Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber, and Green Tea

This facial spray is the best for a refresh during the day. I’ll be using it to finish off my makeup, or to wake me up when I’m lagging during the day. I chose the aloe spray instead of the lavender because I just like this scent a lot better, and somehow it feels more refreshing.

L’Oreal Lumi Foundation (shade: warm)

I’m super excited to try this foundation. I actually went into the store to test out a higher-end BB or CC cream but didn’t end up finding my shade, so I wanted to try a new, cheaper foundation. My main goal was something glowy, and I’ve already tried and loved the Lumi “Glotion” so I have high hopes for this foundation.

Zoella Fragrances in Mini

I actually have a few Zoella products so far and they’ve all actually been really good. These were on clearance, so I pretty much had to give them a try, especially since they are also in this adorable miniature size. I mean, look at those tiny glass bottles!

Becca x Chrissy Set

You can see in the photo below, this set is honestly just so pretty. That might not be the best reason to buy something, but I thought it was also pretty good value for money, especially on sale. 🙂 The box includes a liquid matte ‘mousse’, a highlighter, and an eye shadow duo, all of which are in gorgeous colors that I cannot wait to try out.

Let me know what beauty products you’ve picked up recently and have been loving!

Happy January, and until next time. xx
