Fall Favorites

Hi blog fam! I hope you’re all doing well! I know it’s been quite awhile, and that’s because I’ve been going back and forth, trying to decide on the direction of this blog. To be honest, I’ve thought a lot about skipping the renewal of this page, and instead focusing more on writing with pen and paper about the everyday stuff. I have until the end of November, and it will probably take me that whole time to make a final decision (indecisive is my middle name haha).

Something did inspire me today to bring you this post, though, so I hope you find it fun and interesting! Check out some of my most recent favorite things and let me know your thoughts!

Living Fully by Mallory Ervin – This podcast is pretty new, and I’ve been listening since it first started because I love Mallory Ervin. She is so incredibly positive and funny, and also very real and relatable. In her podcast she sits down with friends and guests to talk about the lessons they have learned in their lives, be it through great things or hard times. I definitely recommend the early episodes with her dad!

Redirected by Andrew East – This podcast is all about how people can start out doing something with their life, and then become completely redirected and end up in a place or with a job or a life they never imagined. I just love learning about people and hearing their stories, so this one has been so interesting!

30 Favorite Piano Hymns – This is such a random find, but in my newly established morning routine (if you’ve been following along on Instagram you will have seen) I put on quiet music without words in the background so that I can read and write without being distracted. This album has been really nice to have playing at the start of my day.

The Vampire Diaries – Okay. You know when you start a show, and then all of a sudden, you’re obsessed and it’s all you want to do with your time? That’s my relationship with this show (I mean, it’s on in the background as I write this post). It’s teen angst and drama and mythical creatures…and it’s awesome.

The Sugar Queen by Sarah Addison Allen – This is the 4th book by this author that I’ve read, and I think it’s probably my second favorite (The Peach Keeper is the best one). It’s about a girl whose favorite season is winter (hello, how relatable) and how she bonds with an unexpected friend, and finds some love as well.

Home Things:

On my dining room table is my newest candle purchase that I found at TJ Maxx. It’s called Apple Pie, and honestly it smells so delicious. It fills the whole kitchen and dining room and smells like I’ve been baking all day. I love it!

As ALWAYS, let me know what you thought in the comments below. I love to know what you’re loving, too, and to get some new inspiration for things to check out! I truly hope that God is blessing this season of your life and that as we head into the holiday season, you are growing and enjoying every day. <3

Until next time. xx
